.300 BLK and .30-30 Win

Any one ever come across a known listed good powder/bullet combo that works for both both of them?

Was wondering if there was on that exists so I only have to change out the dies, but leave everything else the same.

Personally if I could stock only one powder and bullet for 7.62, I would love it.

The 30-30 has more volume and uses different powders than the pistol powders one uses in 300 blk.

If your 30-30 is a tube fed lever gun thats going to limit your bullet selection as well.

Well the obvious answer is no, because .30-30 Win. requires flat-nosed bullets. Maybe if you find some .30-30 data for T/C Contenders and such; and as jmorris said, .300BLK uses pistol powders more.

I tried the hornady 160 gr ftx. Can't remember the specifics right now, but as I remember, there were beter choices. But you could try starting there.

30/30 bullets will not feed well in the b/o especially if you have an m-4 feed ramp.
