I have been looking for a sponsor myself. Last year I signed up for the EPL Life Membership and have made a couple payments toward that. It would be nice to reduce the $1,000 price to $300.

A sponsor would be much appreciated.

Gentlemen, thanks for the offer of sponsorship. I called the NRA Life Membership twice today and asked to sign up for the $300 life membership and that I had a sponsor. I was told by two separate people the offer was no longer available.

I asked when it might be offered again and was told perhaps in September. I will try again and watch for the offer on the forums.

Also, they have forever offered a $500 membership during the Holidays and I assume they will do so this year (no guarantees). My only (early) request to Santa this year is for a 'favorable election outcome' shall we say...:)).

I must have just slid under the wire as my stuff was in the mail today a week after I called. I am sure they will have another membership drive soon.

Wow Reloadron, that was quick receiving your materials. I got in on the $300 offer Monday morning but saw others saying they were being told the offer had expired later in the day. Still hasn't shown up online yet but the charge has cleared so it should soon. Glad to finally be a Life Member!

Here's a kicker. The included questionnaire that came with my card, patches and stuff includes information on the $300 life membership for family and friends? They even mention the online method in my paperwork. I will read through it again and post after work today.

Glad it worked out for you. Yeah, finally after all the years got my life membership. :)

Well, I tried to follow the link and it has timed out for over an hour now. Maybe their website has been flooded with new requests? I'll keep trying.

So, I signed for my life membership on the July 26. On the 6th, I received a welcome package with the certificate, patches, stickers, etc. Nice turnaround time.

No, but you do have to use proper URL. It must be https://www.nra2012.org/ . The 'https' is important; apparently the server isn't configured to respond to plain http requests.

If you get a certificate error, just ignore it and proceed anyway.

Thank you very much mac66. I could not get the link to work but the phone number worked like a charm. Very nice lady took all the info, charged the credit card and now I am a lifetime NRA member.
Thank you for all your help,
    Mike

I am looking for someone to sponsor me for the NRA $300 Lifetime membership. I believe now is the time for all of us to support the groups that protect any of our freedoms as they are being eroded daily. Thank you in advance!

PM or Search Thread for Sponsor Info

Like all of us, I've hit one of those 'hectic' periods in my life whereby I am very much hit and miss and not keeping abreast of the forum as vigorously as I normally would (thank goodness for Smart Phones). Nevertheless my NRA Life Sponsor info is already posted but feel free to PM me if I can still help (believe me, it's my pleasure and I feel confident that I speak for my fellow Life Members as well who have stepped forth in this thread) :).

    -Cheers

    clozerr,

Absolutely wonderful! We can all thank each other in this thread for as I see it, the significance of the Second Amendment mandates that guys like us (total Group Effort) do what we can to help uphold and protect our Constitutional Rights. One need only look at just a few recent examples of the continued effort by the antis to compromise our gun-rights (Fast and Furious, the endorsement by BO and his posses of a renewed push for the re-implementation of the "Assault-Weapons Ban and perhaps most alarming of all, the agreement of the United States of America to allow for the United Nations to essentially monitor and regulate our guns!

Obviously we need to keep up the good fight!

    -Cheers :)

I would like to offer a very special thank you to PT92. I called the NRA number today and gave them the information posted on this great site. In doing so, I have become a life member for $300. The woman I spoke to was very friendly and asked for my sponsor's membership number. After providing it along with the Zip Code and my credit card number, I was all set.
Thank you again for all your help.

    cvoharley,

Congrats and right back at you with both a Welcome Aboard as well as a reciprocal Thanks! This doesn't happen unless this thread exists and Everyone involved assists one another in a major collaborative effort to protect our Second Amendment Rights--We all understand they are never to be taken for granted and will CONSTANTLY be under assault by the antis.

I say lets take advantage of the discounted Life Membership as long as we can by encouraging others to sign up as well!

As always, if the bad economy is a hindrance to someone at the moment there is always the available option of annual membership as every additional membership helps (all about Numbers)!

    -Cheers

Nice to see so many people are joining. Once you're a lifer don't forget do make a donation from time to time, especially to the NRA-ILA.
