Fortunately, I have about 11/lbs of H4895 and over 16/lbs of Varget.

I have changed my loading habits over the last few years.

I don't load big batches anymore. I kinda load as I go now, since I just can't run out and buy whatever I want whenever I want.

Odd man out, am using 748 with cci 34 primers. Gets high velocity with 150 grainers, not higher velocities with 168 grainers. It's more affordable, usually always available, easy metering and can be very accurate. Just don't let max loads worked up in the cold sit in the sun on a hot day.

No, you should not have any problem getting a bullet seated to Sammi maximum. Screw down the body of your die.

For 150 or so grainers Tac, IMR 3031, OR 4064 all will work passibly in the 308 for gas guns. You could roll dice for the best one but one might work better in your rifle so try all three if you can.
