308 bolt gun

    Would like a 308 bolt gun for hunting/ plinking, any suggestions??

    Savage rifles will give you the best bang for the buck... Model 110 or 111 for hunting, or Model 12 for target.

    I picked up a Remington 700 in 308 last year used for 400, really great gun.

    I already own a 700 in .270, guess a good choice would be another 700 in the .308.

    700 in .308 is fantastic. Yes, ... if you can get it, definitely do.

    i have a steyr mannlicher scout in 308 but it'll set you back $1500 :p

    Remington 700 SPS "Tactical"...about $520.00 in my area, Hoage rubber coated stock, and dual pillar bedded heavy-barreled action.
