Awhile back I purchased several cans of 308 ammo. It was on 5 rd stipper clips, 2 clips per pouch, and the bandolier has 5 pockets. All of the ammo was removed from the stripper clips, but for some reason I kept all of the bandoliers and the stripper clips. Now I am wondering what 308 rifle uses 5 rd stripper clips. M14 or M1A? Also, about how much does each stripper clip cost/ Bandolier cost? They are all in like new condition and the bando's are made of a heavy fabric unlike the AR-15 bando's.

All of our M-14 ammo came on 5 round stripper clips.
You topped of the magazine thru the top of the action.
They also worked in my old 7.62 Isaphore Enfield.

M14/M1A as you guessed.

In addition, the FN-FAL, while it does not directly use stripper clips, was commonly issued with magazine loading tools that did use stripper clips, and work very well. That's why you'll find UK surplus ammo on stripper clips.
