32 Winchester special

I'm going to be reloading for a 32 win special. I have .322 jacketed soft round and flat point. That should work right? It's .001 over spec! ( calls for .321) Some were marked 8mm . 323, but they measure .322. the others were marked 32 special .322 and that's what they measure. Stuff my dad had not in original boxes, but if I wrote the Caliber on it that is what the deteriorated box it came from said!

Ya should be fine if they chamber, I'd make a dummy to be sure. Did you happen to find any .318 mixed in.

No. It's for the original bore diameter of the 8x57. They're not the easiest things to find.

Ya I read something about that. I had an 8mm Mauser many years ago.

They're not cheap or real quick on delivery, but Hawk makes some very nice .318" bullets.

Swaging down .321" bullets meant for the .32 Winchester Special works pretty well too.

Good info. I run a .323 bore 8x57 and a 32 win.
I did research it a little when I saw a lonely commission rifle in the pawn shop.
