Was thinking of using my 327 federal magnum for deer hunting. What do you guys think? Btw shots will not be over 50 yds.

If you do your part the 327 will be fine. If shooting factory ammo the AE 100 gr load works great on Alabama sized deer.

Do you consider 300 bo or 30 carbine to be enough?

Rifle. I guess so but 300 bo or 30 carbine I don’t or will never consider due to the fact that I don’t own them. The 327 I acquired on a whim because I also got the ruger lcr to match.
