What do ya'll think about 2.7 grs. of Herco with an 85 gr. xtp bullet in a .32acp? I'm having trouble finding infor on Herco for a .32.

Having trouble finding data for a particularr powder & caliber combination is what I always like to call:
A CLUE!!

Alliant at one time listed 3.2 grains max with a 71 grain FMJ.
But not anymore.

2.7 with an 85 would probably be safe, I guess.

But "Guess" is the key word here, as I have no published data as far back as I looked to support it.

Sounds plenty safe. Maybe on the low side, but I'm not loading for your gun.

2004 Allliant 8 1/2 X 11" manual shows 3.2 grs. with the 71gr. FMJ at 13,5000.

Herco is the powder of choice for me in .32ACP, .32 long, .380, and 9mm because it provides performance.
For my Walther pp series and Mauser HsCs I load the 71 gr. FMJ with 3.4 gr. and the 100gr. .310 dia. JSP - .32-20 bullet with 3.2gr.

Good accurate loads for me.
Full case of powder and absolutely no signs of problems to the cases or the guns.
