Looking to get a barrel for my contender Carbine. My goal is to make a gun that shoots the Barnes .338 160gr TTSX bullets well. I think it would make for a good deer/elk round. Accordingly it would be a 14 twist barrel. Length 20-24" I'm hoping for a velocity of around 2750fps. Here are some rounds that have been previously developed, I'm wondering what peoples opinions are for the best choice.
