35 Whelen

over the years I've had, and still have, a couple of beautiful Whelens, as shown in attached photos.

Simply gorgeous rifles, Offfhand. Nothing prettier than rifles with "classic" lines, nicely figured walnut and polished blued steel. No white spacers, no sharply raked fore-ends and grips, no radical Monte Carlo combs and no goofy-looking, pancake draped over butt stock cheek-pieces.
