For me, pocket carry is occasional, rather than daily. My only .380 pistol is a Glock G42, and I have not carried it in a pocket. Actually, I have not fired it enough to know whether it is sufficiently reliable. I have not normally carried a .38 J-snub, since about 2002, when I bought my second SP101. I have, occasionally, carried a .357 Ruger SP101 in a pocket. I have, occasionally, carried a Seecamp LWS-32 in a pocket. So, I chose “Other,” in the poll.

Before 2002, I would have replied differently, as I often toted J-snubs, in pockets, in the past.

I had a DB9 but it was a handful. I also had a DB380. It was easy to shoot and amazingly accurate. If I remember right, it had a feeding issue, I sent it back to the factory and no problems after that.

    I switch between a 38, 380 and 32. Just depends.

I have a Desert Eagle L5 (light weight 5") in 50ae and a 2 1/2" Dan Wesson .44mag. They are babies to shoot when comparing them to a DB9. It took quite a few rounds before I felt comfortable with my DB9. It has never malfunctioned but it takes a lot of getting used to so much kick in such a small package. I am going shooting out next weekend with a friend that has a 9mm Double Tap... I think he will easily take top prize for most painful recoil.

My DB9 definitely isn't a range gun but it it allows me to pack a lot of fire power in a front pocket.

I carry a revolver in 38+P because it fits my situation.

What you carry is your business and no one else's.

If you post what you carry on a gun forum seems like that is sharing your business.

Ruger LCP in .380 is an excellent pocket carry. Very inconspicuous, and a generally reliable gun.

.380, used to carry SW lightweight 38, but for concealment like the smaller 380’s, I am a medium framed person and anything bigger isn’t as comfortable. Mine is a Kahr CW 380, around 11-12 oz, and is reliable. It has good sights compared to some other brands, and I use Buffalo Bore for carry rounds. My advice to anyone is carry the largest pistol that you can carry comfortably, my 380 is basically a 10 ft gun. If I go hiking or if I actually anticipated some kind of trouble, it would be my Series 70 Colt.45 !

Love my 380 and carry it everywhere and practice out to 15 yards normally and occasionally out to 25.

I only pocket carry in addition to my normal carry routine. The only pocket sized gun I own is the P238, so I only pocket carry a .380. I did buy an IWB holster for it and toyed with the idea of carrying it on my weak side that way, but it conceals better in a pocket.
