The Academy by I-10 and Grand Parkway has both the JHP and FMJ.

    14.99 / box of 50 FMJ
    16.99 / box of 50 HP

limit is 4 boxes. I grabbed 2 and 2. they kept them out of view. i didn't know they even have it until i decided to ask just in case.

is 380 really still that hard to find in some parts? i'm in central florida, and every gun store around has 380 in stock. they tend to charge $20-$22/box for fmj, which is crap, but at least it's available.

I just got 250 rounds from Natchez and 500 rounds from Cabela's. All Sellier & Belliot.
I did the backorder thing, and Natchez showed up first. ($17/50 at both)
Now I have enough that I can wait to find it in the box stores.

380 is EXTREMELY hard to find in the Houston area. Everything else is pretty much available though.

I gave up trying to find 380 in Houston. Easier to order online and wait for it for show up at the front door.

i was sitting on 250rds of .380 american eagle FMJ Brass factory ammo for almost a month an a half!... took a loss on it too... I paid 30/box. Sold for 20/box shipped for free.

Finally sold it. I didn't buy it with intent to flip it or make money but always thought i would break even on selling ammo right now. Bought so much of it when i got my LCP and realized that it hurts to shoot the LCP a lot so i didn't need that 1,000rds of .380 so i finally sold some.

The Herters Brass .380 ammo Cabelas is selling has gotten good range reports here and on the www.Elsiepea.com lcp site.

It's $150/500 rounds, which seems about the cheapest around.

Stopped by Academy on my way home from the range, and sure enough they had some380s. I guess it helps to have bought several guns from them recently, as they kept the 380 inside the safe - reserved for their "good customers".

Picked up 2 boxes of FMJ and 1 JHP. 380 is not regular practice ammo like 9mm is for me. All I need is enough to test feed the TCP. I was told they have been waiting for 380 ammo since last Oct and were promised shipment in Dec, but didn't get them till this week. Hopefully, supply will be coming in more steadily from now on.

    Herters works ok for me.

Shot 300 without a hiccup out of my bersa.

    It's worth it for practice.

For carry I have the fiocchi hollowpoints.
