I just got confused. I thought that for a 380 it is a 355 bullet, but I read that 380 or 9mm is now 356. I want to start to reload these and don't want to order the wrong size.

In .380 Auto, I usually expect my jacketed bullets to measure .355" in diameter, and my lead bullets .356".

    9mm/.380/38 Super/.357 SIG, and others:
    Jacketed bullets = .355"

    Lead & Plated bullets = .356".

You may run across .356" jacketed bullets somewhere.
They will work just fine too.

Chances are, your .380 barrel is bigger then either one anyway if you slug it and measure it!!

I shoot .358" bullets in a 380 all the time, works fine.

But the loaded round should be able to drop in and drop out of the chamber.

You don't want any rounds that need the slide slamming forward to close on them.
