Well, it's been a while since I've visited these forums and it's good to see all of the new faces (so to speak). I'm especially heartwarmed to see that folks are still downloading the cap box labels I created; glad someone finds them useful.

I haven't been doing much shooting for a couple of years; in fact, I've pretty much gotten out of the shooting hobby altogether as other things have taken my interest. My gear has laid pretty much untouched for over a year now, and I think it's time to unload some of it as things are a bit tough for me and my wife at the moment. Without getting maudlin, she was diagnosed with breast cancer last fall and underwent surgery to remove one of her breasts. While she is now recovering, she's having to undergo chemo and hasn't been able to work for some time, so a little extra cash would help things tremendously.

If you're interested, here are the details as listed in the "revolvers for sale" section here at THR.

3rd Gen. Signature Series Colt Walker. Unfired; has been turned but no drag marks on cylinder. Some minor marring of the finish due to handling, but otherwise in great condition with no major scratches, dings or dents. Barrel and chambers are clean and rust-free. Fit and finish is outstanding, even for a Colt Blackpowder pistol, and the cylinder timing is perfect. Comes with standard gray Colt shipping box. Presentation box is lined in blue felt and contains all of the correct accessories for the Walker including flask, nipple wrench, Eley Bros cap box, and a cache of .457 cast balls.

I'm hoping to sell this revolver quickly, so I'm asking the price I paid for it when I bought it from Colt Blackpowder: $550 for the pistol alone, $600 for the gun and presentation box w/ accessories.

No FFL required; shipping from Colorado - check your local laws concerning blackpowder firearms.

    P.M. me if you're interested.

Not holding my breath but if things fall into place maybe in next few days might be able to do something. Still a beautiful outfit.

Hands down, that is the best deal I've ever seen on an unfired, cased 3rd Generation Colt (my favorite series). What a beauty.
    What can I sell...

    JT Gerritty,
First, I'm sorry to hear about your wife. Good luck with the chemo.
Second, if no one has bought the Walker, I'll buy the gun and the case.

Would you shoot that gun? I don't think I would.

That gun is far to pretty to shoot. Excellent price. Good luck to your family and prayers.

Still not too many responses to this offer, which is too bad. I thought you folks would be happy to steal this Walker from me, considering the price. :)

I realize that, even though this is a very low price for this particular revolver, it's still a chunk of change to try to come up with. I'm letting you know that I'd be willing to work with whomever might be interested in purchasing this and will consider payments; also, I can be paid through PayPal, so you could use your credit card, if that makes things easier.

Don't let this opportunity pass you by. When I pull this offer, it won't be repeated again.
