Thanks @jmorris, they are too far apart. Forced by the LinQ system that Cam-Am uses.

Still looks like that would be too far apart on your machine though.
Always a catch isn't there. That's those fancy Can-Am owners for you. Us Suzuki and Kawasaki plain jane owners have narrow racks. That's how all mine mount
'Zactly like my rack....I leave the gun in its soft case. That keeps the mud off the gun.Took me a minute to find a photo of the one I have but they also make them were they will clamp to the bars of the front rack.

Why would you need to carry concealed on your own property? Starting a fight? Again, on your own property? They've been making better rifle mounts than that for over 20 years. Bet that does fall out.
Next what are you going to do with that thing " patroling" besides start a fight. Hidden hand gun is the sensible option.
You asked.

I understand that but the post I quoted was concealing it from people. Personally, if I encounter a trespasser, I want to come in heavy. A little crazy (real or perceived) goes a long way.I do it for the same reason I keep the enclosed case on that mule.
See all of the dust in the "open" rifle holder circled?

That gets all over the firearm too. Easier to wash my clothes than clean a gritty gun.
PS , the days of shooting dastardly trespassers is long gone. Little crazyI understand that but the post I quoted was concealing it from people. Personally, if I encounter a trespasser, I want to come in heavy. A little crazy (real or perceived) goes a long way.
