A while back I posted a recount of a friend who bought a .416 barrett and decided to shoot it inside an almost enclosed trap shooting bunker. It didn't go well......
Well have you ever forgot......happened to him. Him and another buddy of mine were out doing some driving looking for coyotes. The conversation turned to the .416 Barrett sitting in a case in the back seat. They were talking about long range accuracy. Fom what I can tell a wager was made and a five gallon bucket was placed on the ice on a small lake. Hearing protection and safety glasses were put on. To have a steady platform to shoot from, my buudy decided to set the bipod on the center councel of the pickup, and stand outside the passenger door. Keep in mind my friend is a great guy.......but isn't the sharpest crayon. Long story short......nobody knows where he hit, because it was hard to see through the glass debris flying from where the windows used to be........unreal. Thought I would share this......these are the people I hang out with.
