45 caliber smokeless muzzleloader pics

    Hey guys, some showed some interest in my buddy's smokeless muzzleloader and wanted some pics so I'll show a few. First, it has a

    Bat action
    Krieger 30" barrel
    Shehane tracker II stock
    Leupold 4.5-14x40 mm scope with varmint hunters reticle/ 30 mm tube
    Warne rings
    Modified Knight Red Hot musket nipple
    Modified Red Stainless Knight Breech plug

    There's also a pic of some of the other things used

    Swadging die
    swadging rod
    veggie cards
    275 parker ballistic extreme bullets
    decapping tool
    using 30-06 case head brass cut down to 1/2" long

    Great gun for target work and hunting at reasonable distances. :cool:

    275's at 3000+ is real fun, but ya can't have too much fun with it lol. I can't wait to build me a lightweight one with a brake on it lol.

    I'm sad to admit that's my buddies baby...he built it...The parts run around $2700 including the scope. Mine is gonna have to be a budget version lol.
