.45ACP 250gr. XTP - Load Data????

My brother is looking for some load data on 250gr. Hornady XTP for .45ACP using Unique. Can anyone help us out?

Midway's Loadmap lists Unique starting charge of 4.8 grains and a never exceed of 6.6.

Allaiant powder guide lists 5.4 Unique as max for a 260gr. jacketed hp. If you go to Allaiant's web site you can check their data. Nick

The load data on Midway is specifically for the 250 grain XTP. I would choose Blue Dot if I was loading that particular bullet as the pressure curve looks better, but the Unique was what was asked for.

They don't say Mfgr. but the only 260gr HP I'm aware of is the Speer. An oal of 1.21 is listed for that load and 760fps. Nick
