I believe that is the infamous 5.7 round that is used in the fn57, isnt it?

Yep, I shoot and reload them. 2 or 3 reloads per case is about all they'll take. Well I don't like to take chances. The neck takes a beating.

FN 5.7, some AR uppers and some other exotic rifles.
The whole purpose of that round is to be able to shoot a high count round from a reasonable small frame pistol or SBR with little to none recoil (minimum grain) and have the necessary speed to defeat type 2 and some type 3 body armor.
The terminal ballistic effectiveness in these situations still needs to be proven.

I think they are cool and all but that and much more can be achieved with the special police rounds from a 357 SIG. Austrian police have a 80gr solid copper round coming out of a 357 sig at 2000fps. There are also rounds with 60gr pills at 2400fps. 357SIG is the round of choice of the US secret service.

Even the Russian 9mm Grach with bust some trauma plates at moderate range so I see no need for those cases other than a few esoteric purposes. They are not cheap for that size.
