5/8-24 min thread length?

What is the spec for the length of 5/8-24 threads? What is the min length? I have a 700 Rem with 5/8-24 threads that are .580 long. Will that be an issue?

Think you will find somewhere around .600" long is standard for .625x24tpi. If using a suppressor.
I would be more concerned with the threads running concentric with the bore and they are a good class 2A fit.

I thread mine at .620" between the shoulder and muzzle face. Yours at .580" long should work fine though.

In the bigger picture, sure it is ok. All muzzle brakes and cans will fit.

Standard rule of thumb is one diameter of length for threaded parts. So 5/8 = .625. This a machinist rule, but it seems to fit the application.
