Anybody own one with the Mini shotshell adapter? I really like the thought of 12 shots in a urban home development. I think any rioters should scatter like flys If this came out of the closet for self defense purposes. I have no experience with the adaptor so don’t know about reliability. Anyone got one? What’s your experiences.

If you actually need to use a firearm to defend yourself or your family... you’ll really want standard 2 3/4 00buck rounds. Each one is an absolute fight ender with a good center of mass impact. After your first contact... the crowd, if any, will leave as quickly as they can.

No one wants to think through exactly what you might have to do in that one heart-stopping moment. At least with a properly loaded thumper you’ll have the means...

I've got one for my Mossberg 590 Shockwave. Works great, have never had a malfunction. I keep Federal Shorty #4 Buckshot in the tube and Federal Shorty slugs on the sidesaddle.

I do..for my Mossberg Maverick..use mini shot shells buck shot for HD..load about 6, one in pipe..cuz I 'hear' long term, full tube can 'compress/bulge' the shells..

BUT adapter and the Maverick has been 100% reliable..probably 200 rounds.
