I just aquired a 14" 6.5 Bullberry Contender barrel and Redding dies. Can anyone who loads/shoots this caliber give me some pointers as far as loading and sighting it? Also, how do you like it? Thanks-

I don't load for this round.
It's one of several wildcats based on the 30-30 case necked to .264 caliber. It should be a good deer-size game round. I would stick with the mid weight bullets for hunting larger game to ensure good expansion.

Here's Bullberry's load data at their site, if you haven't seen it already.

    I have a 6.5 X 30 JDJ Super 14 barrel.

It is the wifes deer hunting round in her Contender.
I am running a 129 Hornady in it over 38.0 grains of WW748.
I did not find a 6.5 BullBerry load using anything over 120 grain bullets, so no way to make a comparison of the two.

    Good luck with it.
