If you have posted on the internet, you are the internet.
Yes, however it's easy to tell (at least for folks that have real experience) internet posts that are knowledge gained at the range from post that are knowledge gained from the internet.

Hanging out at the range and shooting your favorite rifle doesn't make anyone an expert on a new cartridge anymore than driving your car makes you a mechanic. No, I don't shoot a Creedmoor but I have plenty of range time, I shoot every week. If you happen to have worn out a barrel shooting a Creedmoor or a 300 BLK I'll take that as time in rank. Otherwise we're all in the same boat here and it's just numbers on a piece of paper.

You're not getting "personally attacked". You're finding out that when you post a bunch of garbage that's wrong, people will tell you. If you were smart, you'd admit you were wrong and move on. I'm not holding my breath though.

Is everyone that disagrees with you wrong and need to move on?

I LOVE to see that actually....i get the feeling it would be frustrating....or fun, who knows. The blackout i mean, pretty sure you could wear a creedmoor out pretty quick if you tried.

That was probably the first time i heard/read about the CM. I liked the idea, As i liked the idea of the .260 and x55 before it but wanted a "true" short action. Seemed to offer a nice alternative to the 7mm08. At the time i had little or no interest in the .24s,.25s, or short .30s. Who was using it and what it was being used for had no bearing on my interest.

That said, i played paintball long enough to know marketing and "new" sells gear. Paintball is a very fad bassed sport. Alot of those guys bought guns also, Mostly glocks, and ARs, bolt .308s also were popular cause thats what sniper's used. Nothing wrong with any of those platforms no matter who owns the, or why they bought them.
Personally i cant stand glocks, im finding im not a huge AR fan, and the .308 dosent do it for me either.
Id hate to see any of them become obsolete tho, so im glad for the guys that use them for "real" reason, and the guys that buy them just 'cause.

I shoot 30-06, but after a box of ammo, I've had enough recoil. Getting old is only better than the alternative. Now I can shoot a .223/5.56 until I run out of ammo. But I'm thinking I want a bolt action that doesn't beat me up as much as a 30-06, so originally I was looking at the 6.5x55, but then the 6.5CM came out. Looks like it will fit what I want.

Almost. A 6.5CM in a box fed lever action would be really cool.

East bank, when I first glanced at your post with the horse, my first thought was someone was going to say the Creedmore was good for putting down horses. Thanks for the laugh.
