6.5x55 compliment

    I had posted a confusing thread re: effeciency a while back, and decided to narrow it down here.

    What 6.5x55/.260 Rem is to rifle calibers, _____??_____ is to handgun calibers.

    Any ideas?

    There is no similar comparison in handguns.

    Agree with both One Ounce and Waterman.

    But as close as you will get is 9X19. Efficient.

    Not biggest power unit known to man, but usually no need either.
