6.8 SPC and 6.5 Grendel magazines ?

I know .223/5.56 NATO mags don't work with 6.8SPC or 6.5 Grendel. But do 6.8SPC mags work with 6.5G and the other way around?

.223/5.56 magazines will work (somewhat) with 6.5 Grendel and 6.8 SPC. Usually only 3 to 5 rounds can be loaded with more causing misfeeds where more than one cartridge pops out at the same time. There are some exceptions such as my H&K steel 30 round 5.56 magazine that I can load 20 rounds of 6.5 Grendel in. Now the H&K mag runs over $45 so I would recommend a $25 6.5 Grendel dedicated magazine that holds 26 rounds and is the same size as preferrable.

CS Products makes the best 6.5 Grendel and 6.8 SPC magazines. They are apparently the same magazine with different followers and should work fairly well when swapping between cartridges.

Yep, the gun on the magazine stamp looks much like a "S" so I've got "CS" stuck in my head.

Precision Reflex Industries does very good steel 6.8mm magazines. The ones I've bought from them have been trouble free to date.
