well, topic says it all, basicaly ;)
For those stil unaware, Modern Firearms website now is leading informational resource for small arms developed during XX and XXI centuries around the globe.
Right now it contains 500 (yes, five hundreds) entries, and every day serves to 30 - 35 thousands of visitors, who consume about 15 Gigabytes of outgoing bandwidth every day ;)

And all of this was (and still is), basically, a hobby of one lazy man from far-and-away Russia ;)

What else can i say?
 
congratulations on the anniversary, mr. popenker. it's a great website with great information. i visit it often.
 
Congrats, it's a great site, I find myself going there several times a week.
 
Why does it never work for me?

I have seen this link hundreds of times and always click on it. I always get a timed-out message, and it's not because my computer's too slow. Does this happen to anyone else?
 
A great site, especially for those cool Russian guns we just hear about but never get to shoot.
 
It is a great and informative site Max. I have had a lot of fun going there and looking around over the years.

Congrats and thanks for sharing your site with us :cool: . I check in now and then to ID guns I don't recognize.

For instance, I was recently reading a Japanese comic and the protagonist had a bullpup sniper rifle I hadn't seen before. I checked your site and recognized it as the Walther WA2000 (they're a bit thin on the ground over here and I've never seen one in real life). Thanks again ;) .

I cannot even count the amount of times I have go to that website to learn more guns. Whether it's something I saw on a movie, read in a book, etc. that site has become the ultimate guide. Please, do what you must to keep the site up and running, and I applaud you for your efforts.
 
I've been using your site for some time now. It's a great reference for shooters and non-shooters alike.
