    Greetings,

What other calibers can I use to form 7.55Swiss brass?

    Thank you

284Win brass is just about ideal. It's plenty strong/thick brass. Possibly, the approx .473" rim dia and wrong headstamp is a knock. (missed)Extraction problems are sometimes reported. But you'll have the wrong hesadstamp no matter which other cartridge you use.

Plenty of other carts could be used to reform successfully to 7.5Swiss(7X57,8X57,'06,7.5X54,6.5X55,7.63-5X53,7.62X54) as long as one doesn't mind pushing milder loads thru a brass case(.473to.500) that may have to expand .025-030" during fireforming and further use.

Will you push hot loads and overused brass? And a lot of people will tell you more why it should not be done. best-o-luck

Thank you for the answer. I was expecting to see a caliber in the list that I had plenty. I guess i'll simply buy a few prvi ammo and reload it.
