Hey, I got some surplus ammo today...I was wondering if anyone could help me with info on the headstamp. There is the number 3 and the number 85. I am assuming that this is corrosive and berdan primed...

Yes to corrosive and berdan primed. As to your other question, it's been awhile since I had to decipher them but you can find out for sure at http://www.7.62x54r.net.

If I had to guess, I'd say Albanian.

    OK, "3" means Albania

And "85" is the year of production, 1985. :D (really not that old)

It is 147 grain steel core bullet.

ALWAYS assume 7.62x54R surplus ammo as corrosive. ;)
