The Albanian I had came in a 440 round sardine can. It got pretty bad reviews, but I only had a few failures to fire with mine and I was able to get about 1.5" groups at 50 yards, which for surplus ammo being shot out of an iron sighted 91/30 by a middle aged guy is pretty good IMO. It was VERY dirty and corrosive, but I'd buy it again.

You can't tell from whatever picture they list, because it might be something completely different. That's why I stopped doing business with SG in the first place. I do believe Bulgarian comes in 300 round cases, though.

ps. also says you have to be a member of their "buyer's club" ($30 purchase) to use that coupon code.

Looks like bulgarian light ball. If the headstamp has a star on it, you will need to check for cracked cases.

And yeah, bulgarian comes 300 rounds to the can.

That's BUlgarian light ball. I have some- there is the potential for the necks to crack- be careful when loading mags full. Rounds that fall apart in the mag under recoil ruin a perfectly good day of shooting. It is accurate ammo.

I paid $53 locally for a tin.

By entering their giveaway contest and including your e-mail, they send you a $5 off coupon, usable whether of not you're a member. Thanks for the tip, with the coupon and shipping it came to 15 cents a round for 600 rounds. Not bad these days.

Heh, just as long as they don't jack the price and charge you more on your credit card without telling you. Yeah, they do that. Yeah, did it to me. Nah, never gonna see any of my money again.
