i run 120 sierras and varget in mine.

fwiw i have found varget and rl-15 extremely tough to beat in the 308-family of cases.

What bullet weight are you intending on using? I shoot 120 and 140gr Noslers mostly, and the occasional 150 gr for some fun...

140gr Nosler Accubond (white tip) over 45gr of Reloader 19 works *very* well out of my Rem 700 CDL SF. I shot 10 rounds all sub-MOA yesterday afternoon. It's a little on the slower end (around 2690 fps or so) but it drives nails.

Thanks for the helpfull info. I will be hunting the Idaho mountains for mule deer, antelope, black bear & cow elk. I am thinking of using 140 grain - 150 grain bullets.
