here are the loads that i used in the 80's when i was silhouette shooting. these loads were run across my chronograph and i used a 10 inch contender barrel. as with any other person loads you need to start low and work up using a chronograph.
imr 4895, federal 205 and/or cci small rifle primer, m16 brass.
160gr boat tail, 24.5, 1775 fps
130gr flat base, 24.5, 1797 fps
130gr flat base, 26.0, 2020 fps
120gr, 24.0, 1818 fps
mp5744, same primers and brass
178gr cast lead, gas check, 15.0, 1359 fps
sr4756, same primers and brass
160gr cast gas check, 10.0, 1345 fps
that is all i can find at this time in my old notes. some of my data got damage in 92 during hurricane andrew and is hard to read.
