800m range?

Do any of you know of an 800 or 1000m range near Columbia, SC?

I'm searching for one to test out a new rifle but it won't be for a while yet. Something within a few hours drive would be great.

Oak Ridge Sportsman Association, www.orsa.nxs.net/orsa/index.cfm, in Oak Ridge, TN has a 1000yd high power range. I believe the you can shoot from 100, 200, 500, 600, 800, 1000 yard distances.

Membership is required unless you know someone to get you in.

I'm not sure of the driving time from Columbia. Knoxville to Greenville/Spartenburg is about 3 hours.

From what I've heard from the shooters who use that range, it is one of the best ranges within hundreds of miles.
