I'm not if any of you saw my thread about a AR pistol in 7.92x33. Well this thread isn't about that, it's about the projectile I'm gonna shoot in it. This 8mm HP is 125 grains and carried exclusively by on online retailer. It's made by Hornady for them.

This bullet is a deer killing machine let me tell you, I'm very impressed by what I've seen with them. A friend shoots them at 2615 from a 20" barrel and the 5 deer he has killed had massive exits and massive internal trauma. I'm getting 2485 so I'm sure I've got plenty speed.

150 yards is as far as I'd care to ever shoot at an animal with this cartridge/bullet combo, most likely all shots will be 75 yards and closer. This bullet deserves some praise lol as it's the little engine that could. To my eye is essentially a SST without a red tip. Here is a 7.62x39 123 SST beside the 8mm 125 HP. 20191031_145851.jpg
Here is the last deer my friend shot with the same bullet at 2615fps shot at 64 yards. This is the exit side. 1123180835-00.jpg
