I have a friend with a revolver that looks like a 38 SW, only its not a 38. I think it may be an 8mm Lebel as a 32-20 fits it fine. I've read about the Lebel fittimg this description, but cannot find any case specs. Any of the forum have any experience here?

From 'Cartridges of the World' (3rd Edition):
"The 8mm Lebel revolver cartridge closely resembles the .32-20 WCF and ammunition can be made by resizing .32-20 brass."

Then from the Dimensional Chart in the same book:

    Bullet diameter .323"
    Neck diameter .350"
    Base diameter .384"
    Rim diameter .400"
    Case length 1.07"
    Cartridge length 1.44"
    Bullet weight 102 grains

Unprimed cases are available from Buffalo Arms https://www.buffaloarms.com/8mm_Lebel_Reloading_Brass_it-157867.aspx?CAT=3829, as are the reloading dies https://www.buffaloarms.com/Buffalo_Arms_Company_it-157644.aspx?CAT=4020

I missed the dimensional chart! I'm going back to find it. Thanks
