Oh I'm thinking that the 1st will soon be under heavy attack - don't you know that the government has to protect it's innocent citizens from being exposed to crazy anti-citizen/culture/education/you name it commentary from those who do not support this country? Haters will be identified by their negative comments toward the Government and their mode of communication (written/oral/print/radio/TV/etc.) will just have to be shut down. Goodbye High Road.... and others.

Blessings

Paul

The 1st isn't that much of a priority because they already have a complicit mass media that will censor or propagandize anything that is asked of them. The internet has put a dent in that though. So, what you want to look out for is attempts to regulate the web under the guise of "cyber security". Any bill that gives any sort of regulatory power over the internet is suspect, and must be protested.

Has anyone noticed how desperately rushed all this anti-gun stuff is? Cuomo's midnight assault on NY gun owners, the nearly as rushed attempts by the Colorado legislature to trip all over themselves to forbid scary weapons or scary magazines, and no this proposed legislation with a 90 day deadline to purify states from the foul and terrifying pollution of scary weapons.

These are all attempts to circumvent the democratic process and, with this 90 day deal, to circumvent the courts as well.

Given the Heller decision from SCOTUS, there is a threshold looming (already crossed by NYS in my opinion) where states (or their governments, specifically) are justifiably considered to be in a state of insurrection against the US Constitution, even if fully in accordance with the wishes of his imperial majesty Barrack Hussein the First. The last time things got this out of sync between different parts of the nation, it was resolved by civil war.

The reason your other thread got closed is because there was not enough info about the link.

The subject is already being discussed here:

and here:

:) I can understand you wanting to get the info out there, though. Total BS Bill! The good news is that it is political grand standing that will go no where. The other thread pointed out that the republicans have a super majority.

Jim
Not only does the GOP has a solid majority, there are many Democrats outside the major urban areas who would be promptly removed from office if, for some reason, they voted for this. As I like to remind some of my relatives, the *average* Missouri Democrat is probably more pro-RKBA than the *average* KS republican.

Don't forget things like SOPA, PIPA, and any number of other bills that regulate the web under the guise of copyright.

Strike while the fire is hot.

Never let a crisis go to waste.

The Constitution and the rule of law...? Not so much...

This is just the very few anti's from the metro areas trying to make the news. It has absolutely no chance of passing.

Won't argue if you are talking about Kansas "Moderate" Republicans, but we Conservatives are working to remove them from positions of authority, with some good success.

Both Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama are advocating a Constitutional Amendment to limit our First Amendment free speech rights, and the both the Clintons have advocated censoring the Internet.
