908, 3913, or both...

Been reading all the positive posts about the 3913 and the 908. Went to the local toy store and they had one of each (the 3913 NIB and the 908 LN with 2 mags and no box). I couldn't decide whether the 3913 was a better deal with its superior fit and finish (and admittedly higher price) or the 908 - functionally identical with a so-so finish and better price. End result... I put both of them on lay-a-way. Seems like a cop-out but it's the only way to be sure .

I'm very happy with my 910s....stainless doublestack version of the 908;
as I haven't had any malfunctions in over a year, I'm sure you will enjoy your new toys!

I'm satisfied with my 908S. Do think the features on the 39XX are nicer but mine works great without 'em.

Gave my 908 to my son for his personal carry, as it is as reliable as the sunset, accurate, digests any ammo, and is a snap to maintain......wise choices, as you can never go wrong with a Smith 3rd generation, and their customer service is 2nd generation to none. Have fun and be safe!!
