I have some 9mm brass that may have never been properly cleaned for reloading. They are cruddy on the inside. I'm looking for a brush that I can use to clean the inside. All I seem to be able to find is bore brushes. I have those but by design they won't get to the bottom of the case. I have tumbled them but some of the cases are stubborn. Or, my standards are too high :uhoh:.

I cut the tip of the bronze center off to do that for muddy range brass. That gets the bristles deeper in the case. The brush doesn't last as long and comes apart after awhile.

I re-purposed a centrifuge for this.

Did you just use a bore brush?

Yes. You can get swabs for the job or wrap steel or copper wool around the brush so you scrub and don't scrape the bottom of the case or you can get an ultrasonic cleaner or a real tumbler and stainless steel pins, but cleaning has always been to remove any exterior crud so you don't damage the sizing die. Beyond that, you inspect the inside of the case for wasp nests and spider webs/balls and such.
As long as you are safe and don't damage the case, have fun.
