I've checked ATK's web site but they don't list anything.

I have 8# of PROMO and I know it's the same as old Red Dot without the red flakes, and to load with Red Dot data by weight NOT volume. That's fine for my .45 ACP & .44 Spl; however I wondered if I could put some into the 9mm too. I load 125 lead RN and 115 FMJ for 9mm.

According to the burn chart it looks a lot like Titegroup and the .45 acp and 44 spl charges look pretty close. I'm thinking about starting with Titegroup data and going from there. Thoughts?

I've used Red Dot with 115gr Remington bulk JHP's. A load of 4.2gr in miscellaneous cases lit by a Fed 100 small pistol primer chrono'd at 1,158 average fps form my Glock 19. The picture below is from some older Alliant online data.

I have that same data from the 1st pamphlet Alliant published after they took over Hercules and use the Red Dot data for .32acp, .380acp, 9mm and .357 for cast slugs. it's cleaner than Bullseye and has more bulk.
I load the 125gr L slug for 9mm Para also, does well.

Thanks for posting this. I was in the Sportsmans Warehouse in Salem Or on Sunday. There was a lot of empty space, and there was almost no powder. On the top shelf was an 8 pound jug of Red Dot, and same in American Select. My friend and I bought them. I load a lot of .45 and have started feeding a 45 Colt lever gun and loading "the load" with Red Dot for 30 caliber rifle plinking. Nice to get a 9mm load. I'll give it a try.
