    Howdy all,

I was wondering if anyone had recco's regarding some good 9mm for a luger pistol. I'm looking for something to run the pistol properly as all of the american 9mm I've used so far doesn't create enough pressure / recoil to get the thing to cock while cycling.

    Thanks!

I was wondering if they'd be a good choice. I'll give 'em a shot. Any particular S&B?

Try Aguila (Mexican manufacture). It's some of the hottest factory 9mm that I know of, and is pretty inexpensive (AIM Surplus usually has the 124gr loads $10 per 50).

    124 grain FMJ-RN.
    S&B, Aguila, or Fiocchi.

It will give a harder/longer recoil impulse then 115's.
And the FMJ-RN is what the Luger will feed.

S&B, Fiocchi, and Winchester 9mm NATO (white box and Ranger).

WWB, My Hi-Powers shoot Winchester White Box all day every day. The 100 round Value Packs 115gr FMJ are a good value and are the same weight as the Hollow points I load for carry with.

Your Hi-Powers have nothing to do with making the OP's old Luger work.

It is doubtful WWB would blow all the spider webs & dust out of a Luger toggle-action.

Duh, I missed he was actually taking about a Luger, not 9mm Luger ammo recommendations.
My apologies I guess I need to slow down and put my glasses on when I read posts.

+1 on the 124 gr ammo. Works best in my old Luger.
