So a proud daddy moment shared here again this year. Last year I shared her first buck, so here she is doing it again this year!

I’m super proud of her shot this year, off hand with her 300blk AR at a little over 40 yards.

she’s already counting down to next year

as for the round and it’s performance. I managed to take some pics of how it did. Same load as last year.

The bullet was the hornady gmx 110g loaded over lil gun. Full pass through shot, did hit shoulder on the opposite side. Here are some pics, lungs and heart were destroyed.

That will bring a tear to a glass eye. Proud moment and hope there are many more.

Congrats girl, you go!! Thanks Dad for teaching her to hunt. I have always said if you teach kids to hunt and fish you won't have to go hunt them when they get older.

yes she does but we have a 1 1/2 year old little boy so she’s sitting out a couple seasons til he’s a little bigger. We try not to bother anyone that helps babysit unless absolutely necessary.

Do we really need a "graphic pics" warning on the hunting sub-forum of a firearms forum?

I wouldn’t have put that if it weren’t for the open chest pic. Figured a heads up was the modest thing to do.

Great job! I think the 300 BO is a great choice for a youngster. The last thing a kid needs when starting deer hunting is a nasty flinch.

    Nice shooting, young lady!

If deer hunting isn't in that category, what the heck is?!?

Very cool. Mrs Fl-NC will hopefully be getting her first deer ever this year with a 300 BLK too.
