    I acquired this Colt at Reno. The US Navy Armed Guard aboard cargo ships had the highest casualty rate during WW II of any group of the US Navy .

    Very cool -- your collection of 1911's continues to impress!

    How much does the service charge to do research like that? He's just up the road for me...might be interesting to have him research my Navy Colt.
