It would be better if the message 'teach them about guns before TV does' was on the 2nd half somewhere. Also, you can barely see it is a gun the father is cleaning and exposing his son to. i'd reshoot that with a more visible gun. I'd also consider shooting it with a father and son firing a 22LR cricket, saftey glasses and muffs, etc, although that might be better with a 7 year old not a 3 year old'

#2 drop the bottom line. We don't give freedom up for anythign because it is freedom, not because it gives some slight advantage

Those two are good, but can use improvments

#3 = meh, yawn. Looks very fake and staged, probably something to do with her facial expression (or lack of it) and how she is holding the gun. I'd scrap that one.

#4. It's good. Question: why do you have a wielder in one but not the other? I think it would work better if you had a human + frying pan and human + shotgun. Heck, i'd do the frying pan where you can just see a female hand holding it upraised like about to swing, but a male hand holding her hand, preventing her from using it. Then the shotgun I'd have the gun pointed at the camera, in focus on the muzzle, woman very unfocused and shadowy it the back...kind of what a criminal would see in both circumstances (a pretty good chance of countering the improvised weapon and all attention on a very dangerous muzzle regardless of sex or size of wielder)

#5 this just seems odd. Looks like the clothing is from some S&M laytex sex fantasy prop box. Distracting. The cookie jar doesn't help any, nor the facial expression. Too many problems interfiring with the message.

#6 very good. Unfortunately the pattern of the shirt and the wife's position makes it look like she has one of those 40s film nuiar mustaches. I didn't realize it was a woman at first because of that, especially with the hollywood comment above

#7 I think the nudity is distracting, unless you can get someone very thin that looks like they may be running from a concentration camp. On the third frame, the cloths of the woman look to modern. I'd put her in a skirt at least.
If you are going to go with nudity, on the first image I'd have at least 3 people naked and attempting to flee, maybe some of them already going down. Image 2 would have all downed bodies...and something dark on them to suggest blood or mud.

for the little red riding hood, I'd start with a whole different angle. Get a young woman with a nice backside to be in tight jeans, with a red hoodie on, positioned so we can see a CCW piece, either at the small of the back or IWB on the side, just turn the model a bit so we can see it. Have the model in color but setting an alley or brick wall, have the setting be black and white, photography, so it looks greyish and brooding, that being the modern woods where the wolves prowl.

It you can't do the actual alleyway, then a grey backround lit around the model but fading harshly into smokey dark grey is what i would go for

A freakin' POS Kel-Tec?!?

I betcha that was intentional. The point is that self defense is a human right, and a family who can't afford high dollar guns still has a right to self defense. So yeah, a Kel-Tec.

POS Kel-Tec?!?

Oleg's pics are fine without veiled gun-snobbery.

And as much as I hate to try and pick apart the work of an artist, I think akodo makes some good criticisms. I don't agree with all of his remarks, but overall, they generally reflect my impressions.
