Gun show prices have been in a bubble for 20 years. They are a total waste of time, unless you are just browsing. The dealers often mark everything up to cover the cost of the table at the show.

I went to about 6-7 Nation's Gun Show in Northern and would have agreed with you. But last November then I got a 95% Marlin Camp 45 with 2 original SS 7-rd mags for $650. One recently sold on GB for over 1500! Even pre-Newtown massacre, that was a bargain.

Okay, I pretty much still agree with you, I just got very lucky.

ah don't worry, with a bill in the committee as we speak, the next move towards gun legislation will surge another panic.

Store near me has a couple AR15's for sale, boxes of .223 and 9mm, and most surprisingly, a supply of 30 round PMags for sale.

My Wal-Mart was showing some promising signs this morning. They had Federal Auto Match .22LR, Tula 9mm, Federal 9mm, Tula .223, and a couple others on the shelves this morning. It's been completely bare for a few weeks now and this is the first time I've seen any choices at all in the aforementioned calibers.

Our Wal Mart here in Fountain CO had .223, .40 S&W and .45 ACP last night...limit 3 boxes per shopper.

We were in the market for .243 so I skipped the .223...should have got some but I think supply will return this summer or a fall.

Today at my local discount store sporting goods counter, there were a couple 10/22's on hand. Haven't seen any of those in a couple months. They also had Blazer Brass 9mm in stock, again, for the first time in a few months. The only downside was the 9mm ammo was about $4 per box more than normal. This was not the store gouging, as their cost was higher as well. This was manufacturer and/or distributor.

The Ruger .22's were priced normal.
