A good source for links to news of shootings stopped by CCW?

Does anyone know of a place, website, facebook group, etc. where one can find news links about shootings stopped by lawfully armed citizens?

We all know how the media sweeps this under the rug when it happens. "Armed Citizen stops shooter" is something that happens, but will never be a headline. I'm involved in a discussion via email with a close friend of mine who insists these things don't happen, while I insist they happen, and without publicity.

I need a few links to backup my claim. I've stumbled across them before, but never thought to bookmark them.

Apply google-fu. I did a search with the phrase "armed c itizen st ops sh ooting" and came up with a bunch of articles, etc. I added spaces to it in this post so it won't be as likely to show up on such a search.

I follow the NRA on Twitter and they usually tweet this type information daily. Sometimes it's re-tweeted from other sources.

The trouble seems to be that the press in general considers lawful use of firearms to stop crime to be "not news." I.e., counter to The Narrative. So, news reports of this sort of thing are few and far between, relative to their rate of occurrence in real life.

Also, consider that the vast majority of defensive, legal uses of a firearm probably result in no shots fired and no violence; show the gun, predator slinks off in search of easier prey.

ETA: of course, like the dusty old lady in that Star Wars prequel, libs will stick their noses in the air and claim that if the leftist press don't report it, it can't possibly exist.

One (maybe all?) of the NRA member pubs has a regular section each month that highlights several different cases of armed civilians stopping crimes in progress. Generally these aren't active shooter scenarios, but I would think they'd be in there too, when applicable.

Maybe there's an archive on their website somewhere. I think it's the American Rifleman magazine, but I could be wrong.
