A great brass catcher and brass retrieval system!

My SKS uses its spent brass as a defensive projectile.

I love nice positive ejection! (as long as you have no intention of finding your brass that is)

I changed bays at the range one time because some one parked about 20' behind me to my right and my Mini was tossing the brass close to or on his car.
 Oppss, sorry, didn't hear you pull up or see you park back there.

The ejection on my M1 carbine is so erratic that I bought one of those plastic brass catchers that attach to the gun. It's a pain because it has to be removed to get at the operating handle, but now I return home with all of my brass. I use the bag type on my AR and I even have one that fits my 10/22.

My wife does yoga. With other women on a mat on the floor. Led by an instructor. She likes it.

I do reloaders' yoga. I spend a lot of time alone at my range, walking around with my eyes on the ground, bending over at the waist, or kneeling on one knee. Throwing shiny things into a bag. I get to decide for myself which shiny things I'm going to go pick up. I like it.

I have tried, but I'll never do my wife's kind of yoga, and she'll never do mine.

Works for us!

My gun club range has really small gravel every where you stand and shoot handguns.
The wife got the idea to get a small dustpan with a handle on it along with a small short handled rake/broom. I drilled holes in the bottom of the pan so 9mm wouldn't pass through but most of the gravel will. Sweeps/rakes the brass into the pan, picks up on handle and shakes the gravel out, mostly. Empties that into a small plastic bucket and picks the brass out and then dumps the gravel back out.

Works like a charm!!! Doubt it would do well in the grass but on small gravel, sand or cement it works fine. Actually better on those surfaces than the gripper tool and with my bad back, I've got those things everywhere..
No more bending over!!!!

When I got home, all I had to do was ask my wife to bring the broom and dustpan... The Tundra is kinda high, and both my wife and I are getting on in years, so I had to help my wife climb into the bed.

And therein may lie the truth of the story. Just exactly what kind of "helping" was required? Methinks this entire exercise was nothing more than a clever ploy to place your hands all over your spouse. You dirty old man !

Thank you. I'm going to sprinkle the bed of my pickup with 9mm brass and try it myself this evening.
