I do not know the answer to my friend's questions, so I would appreciate any feedback.

My friend is a LEO who is about to retire.

He has purchased a few LEO only mags over the last few years of his career.

    His questions:

Upon his retirement, can he keep his LEO only mags (he paid for them with his own $$$)?

If not, what can he properly do with them?

    Thanks...

He can sell them to other peace officers, or sell them back to a dealer.

He can keep his mags if he retires with a pension. There are a few hoops to jump through. I think he needs a letter from his chief.

Tell your friend to contact the local BATF office and find out the rules.

He can also let his Senator and Congressman that he believes the 1994 Assault Weapon ban is wrong, and that it should sunset. That way there would be no restrictions for him when he retires.
