I can't belive you guys left this one out!

The High Road To China.

On thehighroad, you'd think it would be the first one on your minds!
Tom Selleck plays a pilot in WWI Excellent film!

Murphy's War - Forgotten gem with Peter O'Toole as Murphy, a firebrand Irishman in the Royal Navy. Set in the backwaters of South America, Murphy is the sole survivor of a British Armed Merchant Cruiser. He battles the German submarine that sank his ship, as it takes refuge in a river delta during the waning days of WWII.

Every movie I could have come up with is already mentioned. I'm programming my TIVO to record many of these movies.

What constitutes a good or great war movie? Well, I would say the movie would have to be told from an honest perspective without any left wing bull????. A great story line. Strong heros, when present nubile delectible women, a celebration of warrior values, and did I mention - NO LEFT WING BS!!
