No polymers, lasers, micro chips, batteries, or shrinks telling us how guns can affect our personalities. No disclaimers on the ads warning of harm to ourselves and society for indulging in the shooting sports.

A time when men were men useing guns made of wood & steel....and marksmanship was taught in schools...(sigh)...

i saw pictures from my girlfriends old school in doylestown. back in the 1940's they had a rifle class in the school. In DOYLESTOWN! Its so wealthy, snobby and liberal there I am surprised the police have guns.

Back in the day everyone of my dads friends talks about how accepted and loved shooting was in schools or as an after school activity.

Sometimes, the good old days really were good. Of course, 1926 was just a few years from the Great Depression, WWII, Korea, and a great many unpleasant things, but for a small while, wonderful....
