I looked and looked, and find that THR has no major collection of user knives!?!? A few other forums have huge collections. So come on everyone, let's chip in a make a thread in the hundreds of pages with knife pics.

Ones you own, ones you love or hate, ones you want to show off. Let's get going!

Any chump can pull a bunch images off the net of things they don't actually have.

If you don't actually own it, don't post it.

100 percent agree! Real pics only everyone please.

Deltaboy, is that blue bone Case a stockman,..I couldn't tell?

I own everyone I have posted so no worries with me. These photos come from my Photobucket account.

I have lots more I need to photograph and load up.

I think HSO was just setting parameters for the thread for everyone not you or I?

Deltaboy, now you made me take a pic of my new Trekker. Just got it to compliment the black one.

I understand Yo.
Here is my hunting knives.

My Custom Bill Mayfield small game knife made from a Sawmill Bandsaw Blade.

Small Bites

It would probably be in bad taste if I tried to catalog all the [strike]junk[/strike] hardware stowed in boxes and drawers.

However, perhaps a couple at a time?

With each picture that I post, I will also include a link to the "gallery" script that displays all the photos in that directory. That way, if you're so inclined, you can see all the out-takes for the knives where I post the one or two marginally acceptable pix I have.

Without further ado . . .

First knife I was ever given. November 1st, 1961. Imperial US Officers Ulster 916 (scout/camp, US Army issue clone with red scales). I still have it.

Closed, notice the post on the screwdriver/bottle opener blade. (Bad color reproduction. Trust me, it's red.)
2009_1005-Knife001.jpg

Open, showing main blade tang stamp.
2009_1005-Knife008.jpg

Open, using flash, showing tang stamp and faded etching. (Told you it was red.)

Here's a few knives I discovered when I was unpacking shortly after moving to Idaho. I was thrilled -- there were knives in there I hadn't been able to find for more than five years!

An original Gerber Guardian. Cast aluminum handle w/Armorhide coating.
2007_1208-Knife-01.jpg

A Gerber Shorty hunting knife, purchased at the Ramstein AFB Base Exchange in 1971. (Not shown is the Mini Magnum, whose blade I broke.)

Here's the Guardian, the Shorty, and an original Muskie (before they added the spoon tip to the handle).

I don't own many Barlow knives, but I do have a nice US-made Remington:

Oh, and in that same box was my Ontario Spec Plus Fighter:

I guess I'll get out of the way now and let someone else post a few pix.

I'll have more later.

:)

I do have a few...this post shows maybe 1/3 of my collection...

Well....there is my general display area that has a few of my knives...

Then we have some of the various SAKs...

451 detonics, I notice you have a cold steel scimitar and pro lite. Those are my favorite cold steels, and I have a lot of them. The pro lite is my carry knife. Did you cut the thumb hole on yours?

Great first page everyone! Now this is what I'm talking about. A thread that will make THR proud.

The first photo is my best handmade knives built from scratch out of 1095 steel sheets. The second is my Cold Steel collection.

Yep...been modding thumbhole knives like that since the eighties, long before the Emerson Wave.

I saw a solitary CS Twist Master above...more fun to have a set...These are the small TW's and a size comparison with a large version

The link in my signature has many knives that I made, and the sub forums have many more. Between those and what I own it's way too much to show!

Some Fighters I made:

3_Fighters.jpg

Stag Landshark I made:

_MG_3220-websize.jpg

And the knife that was in Blade magazine, my Super Camp with giraffe bone handles:

_MG_8673_websize.jpg

All 3 of those pics were by Rob at Balance Digital.

Browse around at the link, see the Mike Lovett knife I own and many more that I made.
