Picked this up today from my FFL, this was my first time to buy off of Gunbroker.com, I've been leery of doing it before, but found a good price on this NIB "Gunfighter" model in 45 Colt, so I crossed my fingers and took the plunge into online gun buying.

Hopefully some range time Monday as I go to start sighting in my long gun for deer season!

Gotta admit, that matte blue finish will have to grow on me! :)

I've also gotta admit, there was about a half-second of pure shock when I saw the pic, but once that moment passed; I sorta dig the matte...

Congrats! Cool looking wheelie.

Nice buy! I have a few Cattlemen of my own, great guns, especially for the money. I've purchased about 5 guns from Gunbroker.com; there are some great deals on some great guns there, along with some extremely inflated prices. If you like the deal on the Gunfighter, check out the deal on gunbroker for the Hombre.

That is pretty nice looking. I thought it was a USFA Rodeo at first. I have both the Hombre and a Cattleman. Both shoot well. I just shot a few handloads out of the Cattleman and @ 20 yds I got 2" groups. I thought that was good considering how hard it is for me to see the sights as opposed to a "modern" gun with adjustable or optic sights or those XS sights which I have on a couple revolvers. Let us know how it shoots...range reports always are interesting! My Cattleman is 357 and the Hombre is 45lc. The Hombre I got online from Tanners on Gunbroker for $250.00!!

From what little I read about the model, the USFA Rodeo was what they were trying to compete with, at a lower cost.

I called Uberti and found out this one was made in 2009 and they did say they have discontinued them already, apparently that finish wasn't to popular with traditional Uberti fans.
